What is KVS?
Kaveri Vanitha Sevashrama (KVS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the empowerment of underprivileged girls in rural Karnataka. Since its inception in 2008, KVS has been working tirelessly to provide education, shelter, and holistic support to young girls, ensuring they have the opportunities and resources to lead dignified and self-sufficient lives.

Our History
KVS was founded by Smt. Sarojamma, a visionary leader who overcame immense personal struggles to create a safe haven for disadvantaged girls. Born in a remote village in North Karnataka, she faced numerous challenges as an orphan but remained determined to complete her education. Her passion for social work led her to establish KVS, along with ten like-minded women, to support young girls in need.
Since its foundation, KVS has grown into a well-structured organization, with dedicated leaders and trustees who continue to uphold Sarojamma’s mission of empowerment and community service.
