Her early life, marked by the trials of pursuing education amidst adversity, ignited within her a profound empathy and an earnest desire to uplift others.
- In her formative years, Smt. Sarojamma, alongside a circle of kindred spirits, began to lend a helping hand to disadvantaged elderly individuals and children. This heartfelt initiative blossomed into the formal establishment of Kaveri Vanitha Sevashrama on the auspicious day of August 11, 2008, with Smt. Sarojamma and eleven other remarkable women at the helm.
- The organization’s evolution stands as a testament to its steadfast commitment to its noble mission, even in the shadow of loss. After the passing of Smt. Sarojamma on February 15, 2018, the mantle of leadership was gracefully passed to Smt. Kanthamma as President and Smt. Suma as Secretary. Under their nurturing guidance, KVS continues to flourish and expand its services, remaining a radiant beacon of hope and solace for children who have lost the embrace of parental care.”
